This whole process is not an easy one. There are days when I don’t want to leave the house. Thank goodness for
DQ Blizzards, champagne and leggings my husband who goes out of his way to make sure I’m okay with everything and as happy as I can be. Next month we’ll begin our first round of IVF. Our lives will be consumed with daily injections, daily blood work, daily ultrasounds, an egg retrieval and an embryo transfer. That’s the process in a nutshell, but it’s very invasive. I will miss some work and likely not feel very well from the huge doses of hormones that will be pumping through my body. BUT – it will all be worth it if we get to embark on our biggest adventure yet: parenthood.
